Allagiulia was founded in 2010 from Giulia’s desire to find her place in the world, following her creativity and instinct. With Venetian roots and a Roman heart, her journey represents a perfect fusion of tradition and innovation.
After graduating, while assisting her husband with buying for the family’s historic shops in Rome, Giulia decided to introduce the Friulane — the traditional Venetian shoes once worn by gondoliers that accompanied her childhood. Lightweight, flexible, and made with recycled fabrics, long a symbol of craftsmanship and comfort, she chose to reinterpret them, preserving their essence while adding a personal touch: fine materials, novel color combinations, and refined details such as the iconic fringes and monogram initials.
Thus, Allagiulia Friulane become a new expression of Italian craftsmanship, blending tradition with modernity. Their lightness and versatility make them perfect for any occasion — at home, in the city, during the day, or for special events — always with a discreet elegance that resonates with women of all ages and personalities.

Allagiulia Friulane were worn by top model Behati Prinsloo in a photoshoot for GLAMOUR USA, shot by Bruce Weber in Morocco.
The renowned concept store 10CORSOCOMO commissioned a capsule collection using brocade fabrics inspired by its logo, while the prestigious department store BARNEYS NEW YORK included a selection of Allagiulia in its famous footwear section.
Exclusive collaborations with Borgo Egnazia, designer Marta Ferri, and Marie Louise Sciò’s ISSIMO brand have strengthened the brand’s connection to the excellence of Made in Italy.
